Studio Elea is an independent kitchen design studio for people who know they don't want a standard kitchen, and need an expert to help them get exactly what they do want.
We specialise in in-frame and inset cabinetry - Shaker, contemporary and Nordic-influenced - kitchens that are carefully considered in their details and designed to last rather than follow trends. Whether you have a clear vision or just know what you don't want, every project starts with understanding how you cook, live and use your space. Style follows from there.
Because we work independently, with no showroom, no manufacturer partnership and no product ranges to push, the design is shaped entirely by what works best for your home and your household. You receive clear, detailed drawings that can be taken to a joiner, builder or kitchen company of your choice.
The studio is led by Sonja, a kitchen and joinery designer with over thirteen years of experience in residential projects in the UK and internationally. Having spent many years designing for kitchen companies as well as private clients, it became clear how often layouts are shaped by catalogues and commercial constraints rather than by how people actually live. Studio Elea exists to change that.

SERVICES
We offer two design packages: a concept design to explore what's possible early in the process, and a full design package with detailed drawings, elevations and technical notes ready to go to a supplier or joiner.
Every design is tailored to how you actually use your kitchen with practical storage, thoughtful appliance placement, and layouts that work day to day. We specialise in in-frame and Shaker cabinetry, though every project begins with a conversation about how you live. The style takes care of itself from there.
Quick Concept Design
£200–£350
Fast, simple, and ideal for early planning.

Full Design Package
£1,200–£2,500
Price depends on room size and level of detail required.

Get in touch
Send a quick message with a rough idea of what you're after. No need to have everything figured out. A few photos of the space and approximate dimensions are enough to get started.

We walk you through it (Optional)
A short video call to talk through the design, explain the thinking behind it, and answer any questions.

Tell us what you're looking for
You'll receive a short style and lifestyle questionnaire - how you cook, what storage matters most, what you love and what you want to avoid. If you'd prefer to talk it through, a brief call works just as well.

Refine until it's right
You give feedback, we refine. The concept package includes one round of changes; the full package includes up to five iterations, enough to get the details exactly right.

Receive your design (3-5 days)
Your initial layout and visuals land in your inbox - something concrete to review, respond to, and build from. For the full package this includes elevations, 3D views and detailed technical notes.

Take your design anywhere
Once finalised, your drawings and notes are yours to take to a joiner, builder, or kitchen supplier of your choice, with the confidence of knowing exactly what you want.
